ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47)– Thousands of pets lose their lives in house fires each year and one local business is aiming to equip local fire departments with the tools necessary to save your furry family members.
Rochester pet store Bone Appetit Canine Bakery Unleashed recently launched the “Fresh Air for Fido” campaign.
They aim to raise $1300, which would be enough money to purchase one pet oxygen mask for all of the 15 fire truck in Rochester. These oxygen masks are designed to fit pet’s faces.
“These masks are specifically geared towards the muzzles and the little snouts of cats and dogs. They may be furry, but oftentimes they are a part of our family, just as if children are,” said BACB Unleashed owner Pam Miller.
