ROCHESTER, Minn. – A local woman wants to help local fire departments by adding special equipment to their trucks.
Pam Miller, the owner of BACB Unleashed is raising money to put oxygen masks made specifically for pets in all Rochester fire trucks. “I know firefighters have utilized oxygen tubing and stuff like that to rescue pets, but these will be specifically geared towards their physical shapes,” Miller says. She accomplished a similar event in Austin a few years back and it helped save a pet’s life.
The cost for the masks will be around $1,300, and Miller is hopeful that pet owners would be willing to donate.
