DOGS & more: THE Great Adoption Event

September 30, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free

Close your eyes and imagine…tails waggin’, furry snouts sniffin’, big and little paws dancin’…so much energy and hope in the air. Can you see it, can you feel it? This is pure bliss for the animal lover.

As nice as it sounds, it is far from perfect without you. All the adorable animals in this image have been neglected, unwanted and/or homeless. But on this day, BACB Unleashed and our partners hope to change that.

This is a day when MN/WI rescue groups and humane societies to come together in one location to highlight and showcase animals (dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, etc) looking for their forever homes. It is also a day to learn about the mission and the work of each organization.

Is your heart open to fill it with love from a furry companion? This fun-filled event is your day – you can make a difference in the life of a rescued animal. Come join the celebration. Even if you are not looking for a new family member you are welcome to come and enjoy the demos, mini educational sessions, food trucks and vendors.

NOTE: Each participating rescue group/shelter has its own adoption process and sets its own fees. Often times groups will not allow you to adopt on the spot, but you are encouraged to fill out an application prior to the event. Please contact your interested rescue group/shelter directly for their application. Links are provided below from those that will be joining us at THE Great Adoption Event. This list will continue to grow, please check back often.
